How do I shop and place an order on this site?
For your shopping convenience, we use what is called a "shopping cart" to help you order online. This shopping cart works just the same as a real shopping cart - it collects items you want to purchase until checkout time.

Simply browse the store and when you want to purchase an item, just click "add to cart" and that item is added to your cart. After ordering each item, you'll be shown "Your Shopping Cart" screen that displays all your items as well as a subtotal. When you are finished shopping our site, click "checkout" and follow the easy steps from there.

Navigation: We have tried to make our site as simple and easy-to-use as possible. The main destinations you will probably use are shown as at the top of every page.

Getting Started: If you would like to browse the site, the best place to start is to click on one of the product categories that you are interested in, on the left navigation bar or the navigation tabs at the top of each page. This will take you to the main category page with a listing of the sub-categories.

Searching: If you have an idea of what you'd like, try an Item Search in the search box that appears on the top left of every screen. Enter the keywords you would like to search in the search field. If you are certain of the product's item number, you may enter it in the search field.

How do I change product quantities?
When you click "add to cart", one of your selected items is added to your shopping cart. If you want more than one, simply adjust the quantity on the "Shopping Cart" screen, and click the "update" button. If you ever want to remove an item from your cart, just enter "0" in the quantity field, then click the "update" button or you can click the "remove" icon next to that item.

We also accept payment via check using eCheck technology.

How do I cancel an order?
Once an order is submitted through the Long's ElectronicsWebstore, it goes immediately into our system for processing, If you want to cancel your order, call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-566-4748 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. CST, and we will do our best to help you. Please have your order number ready for the Long's Electronics representative.

How do I know that you received my order?
Once we receive your order you will be sent an e-mail confirmation to the e-mail address to supplied within 24 hours. You will also receive an e-mail with all of your tracking information once your order has been shipped from our warehouse.

I'm worried about credit card fraud, is this site secure?

I've ordered from you over the phone before, why can't I log in?
Unfortunately, having ordered offline does not automatically give you an Web account on our site. But setting one up is easy! Simply select the "New Account" options and continue with your order. You will have to fill in all of your information for this order, but on subsequent orders you can log in using the "Existing Account" section and your information will be recalled.

I set up an Web account previously, but I can't remember my password.
No problem! Just click the "forgot password" link on the login page. You will be asked to enter your login, and once you click "submit" you will be sent an e-mail your password. Once you are done with this, simply return to the site and go to the login screen.

I am not able to login to my web account, what can I do?.
You may first want to have your login and password sent to you via email by just clicking the "forgot password" link on the login page. You may also want to simply create an entirely new account for the web by visiting the new account page.
